Since James has been off work, I have had minor requests for him. I needed stamps to send out Christmas cards. No problem. He even called me at work to ask what stamps he should get. I told him to get the forever stamps, which I had to go in depth on what the forever stamps were and that I needed 100 of them.
So lets recap, the request is for 100 forever stamps.
I get home and there is one book of stamps (only 20 stamps).
I guess another stop at the Post Office will be on tomorrow's list.
Life with three children and a dog is a journey with multiple hats. All these hats might not fit perfectly, but I pop a seem or restitch one where needed in my attempt to be an everyday woman.

More role reversal
Now I understand why men like to be the bred winners of the family. When you come home from work, the house is cleaned, dinner is on the table and the homework is already done. I am enjoying this.

Blueberries
I don't know why I never thought of this before, but eating frozen blueberries is like eating a popsicle. I normally buy frozen blueberries for making smoothies for the kids, but they have grown tired of the smoothies so I only make them once in awhile. Plus the smoothies are a pain to make sometimes and can be messy (see blog in June "Are smoothies really worth it?"). So I have been eating a handleful of frozen blueberries every morning. Healthly food tip for the year:)
P.S. You can also use the frozen blueberries in pancakes if you like blueberry pancakes.

Zipper Paranoia
Somehow I have developed zipper paranoia. Every time I get up from my desk at work, I check my zipper to make sure it hasn’t slid down while I was sitting. I am not exactly sure when I developed this, but now I am starting to wonder if I have been doing this after meetings too. This is just great, it’s bad enough I have a schizophrenic mind, but now I have OCD issues.
Well, it’s a good thing we are going to be taxed on our health care. I have always wanted to pay more for my health care premiums.

Trick or Treating
Halloween this year was a lot of fun. We may have to find a bigger neighborhood next year. We went trick or treating with my nephews and the girls. All the kids were literally running from house to house. Child #3 was a great trooper and possibly a little craftier than the other kids.
As a crowd of kids came up to one door, Child #3 fell behind waiting her turn to receive her candy. Her sisters and cousins were ahead of her by one house, but she kept on going not wanting to miss any of the houses. She went up to the house alone and came back all excited that they gave her two pieces of candy. SThe next house there were already two kids at the door so she hung back in the driveway until the kids left the door then went up to the door to get her candy.
After watching her do this at the next couple of houses, we started laughing. Our three year old had created a strategy to swindle more candy. Child #3 definitely made her daddy a proud papa.
